Hi, I'm Lauren.
I'm a mom of four — including twins. I know what postpartum looks like from every angle. When my twins arrived, I was blessed with an incredible village. People showed up. They did the dishes, folded the laundry, and made sure I could rest and recover. That support changed everything for me.
With my other two, I didn't have that same level of help — and the difference was night and day. I remember staring at a sink overflowing with bottles at 3 AM, stepping over laundry piles, and feeling like I was drowning in it all.
Living both sides made me realize something: not every mom has the village I was lucky to have. And every mom deserves one.
Why The Nurturing Maid exists
The Nurturing Maid was born out of deep appreciation for the people who showed up for me — and the realization that so many moms don't have that. I wanted to bring that same feeling of support to other families. The relief of someone walking through your door, not to judge the mess, but to quietly take care of it.
I needed someone who would walk softly so the baby wouldn't wake. Someone who wouldn't flinch at the pile of pump parts in the sink. Someone who understood that a messy house during postpartum isn't a character flaw — it's just survival.
So I started The Nurturing Maid. Not just another cleaning company — but a way to be part of someone else's village. A service built by a mom who's been there, designed around the way postpartum life actually looks.
We clean quietly. We move gently. We start away from sleeping babies. We handle the bottles, the laundry, the mess — so you can rest, recover, and actually enjoy your baby.
